This is an example page. It's different from a blog post because it stays in one place and appears in your site navigation (in most themed ones). Most people start with a About page that presents them to potential site visitors. It could say something like this:
Hi there! I'm a bike messenger in everyday life and a novice actor in the evening hours, and this is my site. I live in Los Angeles, got a nice dog named Jack and I love piña coladas. (And are caught by the rain.)
...or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971 and has since delivered qualitative doohickeys to the public. Based in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of fantastic things for the community in Gotham.
As a new WordPress user you can go to your dashboard go to delete this page and add new pages for your content. Have fun!
